Period Wall Tiles
Victorian and Edwardian glazed wall tiles were a common feature in homes and public buildings from the mid-19th to early 20th century. Known for their glossy finishes and decorative patterns, these tiles were used in hallways, fireplaces, bathrooms, and kitchens. They often featured floral designs, geometric shapes, and rich colours, and were both practical and decorative. Today, they remain popular for period properties and for adding character to more modern interiors.
These glazed tiles have a stunning glossy finish with deep, bold colours that can be used interchangeably with mouldings and relief tiles, as well as decorative tiles and panels to create a beautiful and unique look. Here are some examples of areas with period wall tiles we've designed and supplied over the years.
Please note we do not sell these tiles remotely. There are far too many colours, moulding options and decorative tiles to make it possible by email and because these tiles are ordered specially from the manufacturer, we do not accept returns if the customer changes their mind so matching colours and hoping they're right is too risky. Please come in to our showroom to discuss these tiles.
